The
performer displays a bottle of "Mospundsow," a rare liqueur
that apparently makes OTHER people start seeing things. One
interesting trait of this powerful beverage is that it must always be
stored right-side up. (Otherwise, it'll eat through the cap!)
A tube is shown, clearly marked with
an arrow to indicate the bottle's direction. But when the bottle
is placed inside the tube, it turns upside down...instantly! This
is repeated numerous times as you try various methods of inserting the
bottle, but it NEVER seems to stay the right way up.
Dan Wolfe first developed this
comedy bottle trick for his stage show in 1999...only to find that
Thayer Magic had STOLEN his idea -- decades before he was born.
Those guys are GOOD!
A single dent in the old metal version used to render the prop
unusable. However our version is hand cast from urethane plastic and
thermoformed PVC tubing. No dents here!
NOTE: The flimsy, corrugated cardboard tube seen in our demo video
has now been replaced with a beefier look-alike. It's fabricated
from high tech foamed plastic but laminated and finished to LOOK like an
innocent cardboard tube. Engineered to allow just
enough "flex" to make the trick easier to present...plus it
lasts longer.
Due to various
inquiries, we have also created another tube...a red one that looks a
bit like high-end wine bottle packaging. Just specify which one
you'd prefer.
Why the silly name? Because "Mospundsow" looks the same upside-down as it does
right-side-up.
(And if you're interested, it's pronounced "Mozz pund zow.")
Includes custom made bottle, square tube and complete
instructions.
