Tired of the same old
produce-produce-produce-vanish Dove Act?
Want something that will set you apart?
Want something different?
Dan Wolfe did too. So, in 1989 he created
"Dovided," this definitely different dove effect.Anytime
during your Dove Act, a bird is produced and placed into a small chest
just big enough to hold it. Seems standard.
...but then you
bring out the saw.
You proceed to saw through the box, divide it with
two small stainless steel blades and pull it apart. Okay, so the
bird could possibly be squeezed into one half of the box.
Then, you open the
front and rear doors, showing both HALVES of your little feathered
friend...and he's moving!
The boxes are reassembled, the blades removed and
your little bird buddy emerges none the worse for wear.
Pros: Small stage
footprint, quick set-up, easy transport, angle-proof and uses only ONE
Dove.
Cons: They're gonna LAUGH in the middle of your
Dove Act! (Wait, is that really a BAD thing?)
