(#TEUP)
FOUR UNITS NOW IN PRODUCTION
FOR DELIVERY JANUARY 2010
Imagine this...you explain to
your audience that you've come up with a brand new magic
trick. On a bare stage, you bring out a cardboard box.
From the box you pull a shopping bag and dump a tablecloth onto the
floor, to protect the stage from this dirty old box.You set down the shopping bag and move the box
onto the center of the cloth.
Stepping
into the box (there's a door cut into one side), you lift the box to
display your feet sticking out the bottom.Lower
the box and lift it again to show that one of your feet has
disappeared. They're not impressed.
You bring back that foot and
make the other one vanish. They're STILL not impressed.
So, you make
BOTH FEET vanish.
NOW they're impressed!
Afterward, you step out
of the box, toss the tablecloth and shopping bag into it and carry
it away. Notice, you've just set up and torn down the illusion
right in front of the audience...all by yourself...and they're none the wiser!

About
the Props:
The Base -- There isn't one. (Actually it uses our
"Invisible Base" concept...and you're gonna LOVE
it!)
The Box <photo>
-- It looks like innocent cardboard, but is actually
fabricated from plastic that has been custom extruded just
for this prop (and from recycled material, too!), aluminum
reinforcements and a light wooden frame. The box
collapses flat for packing.
The Gimmick --
Professionally fabricated, height adjustable and rated up to
225-pounds (100kg).
The
Angles -- Standard proscenium angles, but it could be
performed right at the footlights. However, they MUST
be able to see your feet...otherwise, what's the point?
A
self-contained one-man illusion, set it up in front of the
audience, no assistants and the entire illusion weighs only
25-pounds.
Special thanks to Fred
Becker and Bobbie for their help testing this
effect...and to Mr.
Andre Kole for his "No
Feet" inspiration and giving his blessing to our project!
